TOOLS -> OPTIONS -> OPENOFFICE.ORG -> JAVA then after a pause java will be recognized. Click the radio button identifying the found java instllation and make sure the checkbox is checked for USE A JAVA RUNTIME ENVIRONMENT and click OK.
