Does "duration of page" not equate to "duration of slide"? *This* is the settings window that is omitted from the settings screen accessed by clicking "Slideshow/Settings". I can accept that the "duration of pause" setting refers to the pause between slide shows, rather than the more intuitive pause between slides, but that segment was not the focus of my question. bg: > >Secondly, and a good deal more disconcerting, is that when I go back > >to experiment around with changed "duration of page" timings, I > >naturally click "SLIDE SHOW/SLIDE SHOW SETTINGS", ... bb: > Actually, that may not be as natural as you hope. I have written software, sold software, trained people on software, and used software for over 30 years, and maybe my expectations are unrealistic :-) bg: > >Where is the "duration of page ? bb: > Click on Slide Transition in the Tasks panel on the right (or use > Slide Show | Slide Transition...). That seems to work fine - thanks very much for steering me to that place. Brewster -- ********************************************************************** W.
