I recently installed OOo 3.1 and am in need of basic instructions. I am a beginner level user, so I need very basic instructions. Right now I want to know how to set decimal tabs in a text document so that they stay throughout the entire document. I tried setting them using Paragraph but they do not stay. OpenOffice.org uses styles to establish the initial look and feel of your document. If you want a customized style it is not difficult to do.
