Sorry for the delay in posting, I've been busy with studies! Liat thinks that she can highlight (which for purposes of this thread is the same word as "select" in Hebrew, the language that I speak with her) a single row in Excel, then press the down arrow key and move the highlight down to the next row. That is, only row 4 is highlighted, she presses down arrow, now only row 5 is highlighted. I'm only helping her by phone at this point, but the solution to shift-space is perfectly fine for her as she can do that with one hand with the phone in the other.
For the record, I have tried what she said in Excel 2003 in the university and could not reproduce her claim. Maybe she has some add on, or maybe there is some "reader" mode of Excel that I am not aware of. I am not pushing the issue as she has a solution (shift-space) and I want her OOo transition to be stress free: I'm not about to introduce artificial stresses into the transition! Thank you all for the help! -- Dotan Cohen http://what-is-what.com http://gibberish.co.il --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
