I'm experiencing zooming problems with Writer and Calc (the only modules
I use heavily). I'm running OO 3.1.0 Build 9399 on a MacBook Pro with
OS X 10.5.7. The problem has been occurring only since I upgraded OO.
What happens is that moving the cursor using the touchpad can be
interpreted as initiating zooming. It doesn't happen all of the time,
and it can zoom either in or out. I've not detected any pattern as to
what causes what. I thought for a while that turning off the Status bar
solved the problem, but not so.
I can find no controls in the MacBook or OS X settings, nor in OO, that
affect the condition. Any ideas? It's an extremely irritating feature,
and I thought when I moved off Windows that the days were over of my
system deciding what I wanted to do rather then letting me make my own
decisions
