This sounds like an OSX, rather than OO, issue. Look for a setting in
System Preferences (in the Apple menu in the upper-left of your screen)
that controls the trackpad's behavior. On my iMac, zooming is controlled
in the Keyboard and Mouse prefs, under the Mouse tab. On a laptop, the
trackpad usually performs the mouse's functions.
Than ks Dave, but there's no OSX control that seems relevant to the
problem. The problem happens only with Writer and Calc, and only since
OO was upgraded. It does not occur with any other applications.
