I have to ammend my +1 on this part to: +1 unless the subject contains
the [Moderated] or similar tag in the subject line. This issue
([Moderated] tag) has also been discussed previously with reasons
why/why not, but if the subject line identifies that the post is from an
unsub then I'm much more likely to either: 1) pass over the post, or 2)
take an interest & follow-up with a cc to the unsub with the usual
disclaimer request that any replies be to [email protected].

Of course most on the list will try to assist new users as best they
can, but the frustrating part is the expectation that list users parse
headers to determine if the post is from an unsub. That I no longer do.
