It works with Windows XP & OOo 3.0.0 in my case. But I don't know for
Linux. 
Any Linux user can help.

It did NOT paste column widths. Since I'm down to only 39 more columns
to 
set, I suppose I might as well do it manually. However, for future use

For what it's worth, I am using OOo 3.0.1 on Kubuntu (Linux) though I
also 
use it on Windows 2000 and Windows Vista from time to time.
