I think the main point here is that we should be willing to cut our fellow
posters a little slack - many may be writing in a language which they
haven't entirely mastered and many may be unfamiliar with lists of this
type. Minor errors of etiquette are therefore best ignored ; doing so has
the added advantage of conserving our resources for the main task - helping
our fellow users with the problems they encounter in using OOo. Besides,
since most of us seem to reside in glass houses, we should be advised to be
careful with stones....
