BTW, I should have mentioned this: As I read his point, James was also
not saying anything about the /support/ on this list; he was referring
to the newbies who feel themselves inundated with more than they can
handle. It was only in /that/ sense that he meant "not a newbie
friendly place". And I might add that this thread, and a number of
related current threads, are aimed at making even that less painful.
Again, though, I apologize that our comments were misconstrued. James
and I could have both been more careful.
