For those who don't like return receipts: I use Thunderbird and in the Edit menu I open "Preferences" -> "Advanced" tab -> "General" -> "Return Receipts" -> check (tick) "Leave it in my inbox" and check (tick) "Never send a return receipt" -> "Okay". Surely other email clients have the same options. I never see a request for a return receipt. Thank you!
