Gary, you've just illustrated why the problem of unsubscribed posters
should be FIXED. It wastes far more time and energy - from people who
care about OOo enough to give their time in its support - than fixing it
could ever require. You're right: The discussion does not belong on this

As has been said each time this discussion comes up... the current sitiation is limited by the
Collabnet infrastructure. The mailing lists cannot be changed because they are limited to what
Collabnet provides. List owners and moderators cannot change anything.
That said, OOo is being migrated to a new infrastructure. Take a look here:
