It has versions for Windows, Linux, Mac, and mobile. I tried it briefly before I realized it Nautilus, the file manager it uses in Linux, messed up my KDE desktop. It works as promised. You get a directory on your desktop and can access the file just like it would be on your HD and then any changes you make can be saved directly to the file online and your spouse can do the same from her computer if she has "dropbox" on it. You get private areas and a public (sharing) directory. The basic service, 2GB disk space, is free and pricing kicks in after that. http://www.dropbox.com/ Good luck!
