Your registered as "[email protected]" but your right that your ISP is doing something funky with the addresses. You could try the following: "By far the most common mailing list problem is attempting to unsubscribe from an address that is not subscribed. If you need to unsubscribe a specific address, say "[email protected]", send a blank email to [email protected]. " If you wish for me to unsubscribe you from both lists, please send a separate email to the 'owner' addresses below to confirm (I only ask this since you have contributed over 100 posts since 2005). > > > > And while the typical reader/volunteer cannot help, a moderator must > > occasionally read these messages, and that person can bring this to the > > attention of the list owner (who apparently ignores emails written by > > me directly). > > > I do, and hence the reply. I don't ignore messages sent to me but I've not been owner/moderator for as long as you've been subscribed so potentially its been a while since you've asked to be unsubscribed. Just to reassure everyone emails to either [email protected] or [email protected] will be responded... > > I'm not aware that this list is moderated. Am I wrong? "Owner" is not the same as "moderator". > > Yes there is a moderator and owner for both the users and discuss list. Moderation for these lists is not the same as other's - search the mail archive for definitions. /paul Owner/Moderator for users and discuss OpenOffice.org mailing lists
