I've been trying to install version 2.0 in a dell computer with windows XP. When I downloaded it again and tried to extract the files, I lost it totally from my computer. This happened twice and I cannot find it anywhere on my computer, so thanks for your help but I'm going to go ahead and buy Microsoft Office, I know I can install that. ----- Original Message ----- From: Dave Barton To: [email protected] Cc: Marty Sent: Saturday, July 02, 2005 6:09 PM Subject: Re: [users] [moderated]

[EMAIL PROTECTED] Which version (eg. 1.1.4) of OOo you are trying to install? You appear to be running some flavour of Windows. Which version? If it is Windows XP, it may be that you are trying to run the setup.exe program from within the compressed (zip) file without extracting all of the files from the zip file.
