        Certainly, you must be right!...
        All the OOo "bullet/list" formatting must be _really_ intuitive!...
        So intuitive, that you did not even _bother_ to try to prove or explain 
any 
of your assertions.
        So, the problem has to be mine, or of my OOo copy:
- when I apply a (paragraph) style to a paragraph, if the style changes the 
paragraph indentation, my OOo window, changes accordingly the horizontal 
ruler in the upper part of the window;
- as I said in my previous message, and showed on the document I prepared and 
referred (http://www.fe.up.pt/~jmcruz/ooo.tests/test-format-parag-list.sxw), 
when I apply bullet/list formatting, the indentation _is_ changed, but the 
ruler is not! 
        In my humble opinion, that is not intuitive.

Can you please explain or demonstrate your view?
