Hi Linda, This sounds like a strange problem. I cannot really offer you a solution except to download another great open source tool call "The GIMP" - it is for graphics manipulation ( http://www.gimp.org ). In this tool you should be able to rotate theimage (and do many other fancy things also) and then insert it into OOo.
