This is a fortunate posting for me, as I had just re-installed Adobe
Photoshop 5.0.
I have discovered that Photoshop has been part of my freeze-up problem
["Freezeup in 1.9.122 Writer"].
Thus, in seeing CPH's recommendation to Linda to try GIMP, I am
wondering if GIMP will take the place of Photoshop?
Particularly, I am committed to using its New Adjustment Layer > Curves
function. Do you know if that is reproduced in GIMP?
I would truly love to get out from under this high dollar and poor
fitting program -- I assume PShop works better on MAC than on Windows.
