Hello!

When I installed OpenOffice.org 2.0 (including the ActiveX Control) in
Windows XP with Service Pack 1, I was able to read ODT documents inside
Microsoft Internet Explorer browser.

However, after installing Windows XP Service Pack 2, I am no longer able
to do this.

Here is what happens:

1. After clicking (with the left button) the link that points to the ODT
document, a dialog box entitled "File Download" asks "Do you want to
open or save this file?" (If we have Winzip installed the extension of
the file that is going to be downloaded is changed from ODT to ZIP);

2. If we click the "Open" button in this dialog, the list of files and
folders included in the ODT file is shown, but the document is not
opened to be read inside Internet Explorer.

This happens, for example, with ODT documents listed in
http://documentation.openoffice.org/HOW_TO/index.html.

So: what must I do to read ODT documents inside Internet Explorer in
Windows XP with Service Pack 2?

Thanks in advance,

Manuel Carrusca
