Perhaps if you explained in more detail what you are trying to trying to
achieve, we might be able to assist you in correctly configuring your
language settings. Also which version of OOo (OpenOffice.org) and
operating system you are using.

I am guessing that you are using Windows. In which case you also need to
delete your personal profile settings, normally found under:

C:\Documents and Settings\*username*\Application Data\OpenOffice.org2

Replace "*username*" with your normal Windows log in name.
