Sure. Understand, however that the commands are located in different places and used or invoked in a different manner. Suggestion: Download OO now and then during the weekend (like this one coming up) she can prepare a Powerpoint presentation with in Open Office at home (it shouldn't take her to long to learn how Impress works), and then on Saturday (or whatever day a local library is open) let her take the file she created at home and test opening it on one of the library PC's which has Powerpoint. If that is not possible, she can get to school early and reserve a computer and try the same thing there.
