   > NeoOffice is a VERSION of OPENOFFICE.ORG.

Yes.

   > THEY ARE THE SAME PROGRAM.

No. Neo is not available on other platforms, OOo is -> they by definition
can't be the same program.

Got it?

   > NeoOffice is OpenOffice.org.

No.

   > Stop confusing the users, Pavel.

I'm not the one confusing them ;-) Do you remember? I'm working on one of
the "same programs" according to you. But I'm working *only* on one of
them. But the second one can benefit from my work as well!

But they are not the same! If they are the same, they can share the code
mutually. This is not the case. There is a difference. Thanks for pointing
to

http://porting.openoffice.org/mac/ooo-osx_downloads.html

This pages is trying to describe the differences between OpenOffice.org and
Neo which is based on OpenOffice.org but is different. If they are the
same, only ***** would start the page comparing the same program!

We should not forget about the difference and we should not confuse users
with statements like

   > If you have NeoOffice there's not much need to install
   > OpenOffice.org - it's the same program.

you used in your e-mail.

Also for example think of the differences like Crystal icons, ODT file
format etc.

>From now on, I have decided to completely ignore you because I have said it
to you three times and you still was not able to remember it!

I'd like to ask others to notify me when Chad again lies to our users on
this list. Neo has his advantages. OOo has its own advantages. We can't say
they are the same!

Chad: I have never heard you telling that OpenOffice.org is the same as
Neo. I only heard the opposite. Why? Don't you think you are only making
unnecessary "wars" between both teams? Don't you think that both Mac OS
X porting team and Neo team want to get closer, to cooperate closer? The
only thing both teams should do is to ignore you! I have started with it
now.

Well, after spending a lot of time hacking on Emacs you develop
a particular intimacy with point. A sort of friendship which
doesn't allow for "the" to appear in front of "point" any more.
