But it WILL NOT RUN on an Intel Mac.

OOo on intel Mac is an alpha version and nobody should advise a _user_ to use it for production purposes. OOo for IntelMac is for testers who want to contribute to the development effort. Not for people who need to deliver important things in a stable environment.

I personally use OOo to deliver translation jobs to clients everyday and I would _never_ _ever_ take any chances with alpha software running on alpha hardware.

Right now, if you need to work with an office suite on IntelMac you can only use MSOffice 2004 (with Rosetta).

I mean, right now if you need to work on a Mac, you don't use an IntelMac. But this discussion is way beyond this thread.
