Well, even if Neo was LGPL there could still be two projects.

The Neo web site says there are currently only TWO developers working on
Neo. Perhaps they could be persuaded to change the license back to LGPL.

Why they chose to go down their current path instead of joining OOo as a
special project one can only speculate.
