Hi there,

I am not able to copy/paste any text from any part of any website (in both Firefox and Safari). Do you have any other ideas?

Thanks!

Quick question: What is the address for this web site? It may be part of the problem.

Thanks, but unfortunately "Paste Special" is not an option I can
choose under the Edit menu in OO, after I have copied text from a
website (all copy/paste/paste special options are "grayed out),
even after I copy text from my browser in to the clipboard.

Also, in my previous email there was a typo. "Ctrl+p" should have
read "ctrl+v." Sorry for the confusion. And thanks again if you can
offer help!

I know this can be done, so it must be a setting in OO I'm
overlooking. And there's no info on this bug in the wiki on the
OO website.
This is how I do my job, grabbing web content and formatting it
with OOo for print. It works perfectly, just get familiar with
the "paste special" instruction under the "edit" menu. play with
it until you learn exactly which level works best for you in each
situation.
