1. Sunbird is still under development and has a long way to go until it is a 1.0 release. 2. SeaMonkey is an extension of the Mozilla Application Suite, which is an all-in-one Internet program. 3. Thunderbird is just what I thought it was, a mail and news interface program. No calendering capabilities, unlike Outlook or Outlook Express. You might want to try and use SeaMonkey and look inside for a calendering program.
