Anyone can post a message to this mailing list. However,
non-members have their messages screened by a moderator first to
remove obvious spam. Only after a moderator has approved an email is
it posted to this list.
Every email contains headers which are not shown unless you tell
you email client to reveal them. Every email of the members contains
the header: Delivered-To: mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] The
emails of non-members contains and additional header: Delivered-To:
moderator for [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Several of us on this mailing list separate these "moderated"
emails (non-member emails) into a separate folder using the email
client's filter. We set up the filter to place all emails with the
header send all emails with the header Delivered-To: moderator for
[email protected] to in that folder. Then we make sure that we CC
the original poster when we reply to any messages in that folder.
