Just for clarity (I'm now using another PC now) the standard (ie, not portable) OOo version 2.0.3 also does not have the options suggested.
However on both PC's windows is smart enough ( in a rare burst of intelligence) to use the default mail client. That means on this machine, when emailing a document, Thunderbird is selected and away we go. /paul On 10/4/06, Harold Fuchs <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:

I would expect a Windows app to use the OS's default e-mail program. I've never used Thunderbird but it *should* have some option somewhere to set it as the default e-mail program in the same way that Firefox (and IE) has an option to set it as the default browser.
