That's a good question.  I think if you keep an eye on the list you posted 
your original message to, you'll get a better answer than I can give on that 
one.  However, I'll try.

In the Cell where the invalid reference exists you should be able to see the 
error.  If you click on that cell you should see the contents of what 
spreadsheet its trying to access.  

What you "could" do, from what I know is save the current spreadsheet as an 
OOo (OpenOffice.org) spreadsheet, then find the spreadsheet its looking for 
and open it, and convert it, then change the reference.  Or, you can just 
delete that cell.
