I'm using OpenOffice V2.0 for Windows 2000 Pro. It works fine on ordinary Excel files and is a great program overall.
However, if I try to open an .xlw file, the message I receive is that a file called blank.exe is required. How can I obtain this file and install it please? I need to access these files but can't unless I install MS Office - and I wish to stay with OpenOffice! Brian Slack, Hemel Hempstead UK
