Dear Guy, Thank you for spending the time with me on X11 I had a tech friend help me. It was difficult but we did it. There is just one question I have. In the process of trying to download x11 two icons came up that I think are part of either O.O.org or x11. They are: OOo-2.1.0-MacOSXPP OpenOffice2.log C-install-en-US.dmg Are these part of anything or included in the installed OenOffic/x11 They can't be put into OpenOffice.org. Do I keep them or trash them? Thanks john wishart
If your OpenOffice.org is installed, you don't need these files anymore. So the question is: are X11 and OOo in your Applications folder (X11 in subfolder Utilities) and can you make them work? If that's the case, you can trash the dmg and the (unknown) logfile. -- Guy using dutch OOo 2.1 RC 2 on a iMac Intel DualCore Tiger and dutch OOo 2.1 RC 1 on a G4 PPC Powerbook Tiger -- please reply only to [email protected] -- Dodoes can't afford to have headaches
