As far as I can tell, there's NOTHING different about Chapter Two! I've look through ALL the settings, and as far as I can tell, it's identical. Would it be helpful to send you the file itself offlist? It's a novel, so I'll scramble it (writerly paranoia!), but I can happily send it to you (I assume it will have to be offlist, since I don't know that this list accepts attachments. That's up to you. I don't send unsolicited files.

I haven't helped yet! But I'll play around a bit now that I know what your settings are. By the way, I'm sure you've already tried to figure out what's different about Chapter 2 -- punctuation, for instance, or any hidden characters the others have/don't have? I'm a newbie myself, but also interested in TOCs for some of my own projects. If we can't come up with anything here, there's a Writer forum on the main site that might have some more experienced folks to help. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Heather Dudley" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, February 12, 2007 5:56 PM Subject: Re: [users] Table of Contents >I am indeed.
