It is not that I don't know how to install a dictionary, I have english, dutch and spanish working, but the basque one doesn't work. When I open any of the menu's where I can select the language, the Basque one appears with the blue check mark, so it is available. But when I type something it doesn't work. Going back to the same menu now shows the check mark also disappeared. You need to tell OpenOffice what language to check in. This is usually done by creating a "style" for the language and setting the paragraph(s) to that style. Once you've done that the spell check will work. -- Harold Fuchs London, England Please reply *only* to [email protected]
