Which version of OOo (OpenOffice.org) did you install (current stable is 2.1.0) and which version of Windows are you using? What do you mean by the terms "deleting" and "deletion"? Did you run some form of uninstaller program or just just randomly rip out files and/or directories that looked as if they may be suitable candidates for removal? Did you modify or clean the Windows registry? Did you close the system tray "Quickstarter" icon before you "deleted"? Can you see any reference to OOo in the "Startup" group of your programs Start menu? It is very unusual for OOo to cause any problems like this, so we need as much information as possible if we are to help you resolve this.
