I have been thinking about downloading Open Office. My wife and I do a small Newsletter for an organization we belong to. I am wondering is there a template for doing newsletters. I did a quick overview of the program and did not see a guide for doing a Newsletter. Maybe someone could adivise if there is one.
On this page (http://documentation.openoffice.org/Samples_Templates/User/template/index.html) there are plenty of templates available for OOo. One is listed as newsletter (haven't gone into it to find out if it is any good however)...
