Yes, it's true no multiple installs with only one license.... I
*assumed* the reference to "4 copies of XP on 4 different workstations"
were just that - 4 licensed Copies on four different workstations (Also
assumed you were sold windows when you bought the computer). As such,
you could install one VMWare, with one separate license on each of the
new Linux builds you create..... Since you are still only licensing one
per machine, it shouldn't be in violation of the EULA - but "your
mileage may vary".... I also really only use it myself when there is
something I cannot do with Linux, but also know of several folks who use
it to run "legacy" applications that dont run on linux or the latest,
greatest version of Windows (at least not without buying an upgrade...)
They already had windows licenses BEFORE they switched to Linux....
