Interestingly enough I am working on an old PPT presentation that I've imported into Impress & resaved as a OOo presentation. The document uses WAV files for each slide via Slide Transitions. Unfortunately I can't get it to play any WAV files. Under Slide Transition|Modify transtion|Sound and I then select "Other Sound", then select the WAV file, then select the Play button while still in the selection box the sound plays loud and clear. I then select "Open" and the sound name appears next to the Sound box in the Slide Transition|Modify transition box. However, when I click Play in the Slide Transition box, or when I do Slide Show there is no sound, zero, nada. OOo 2.2.1(rc2) linux. I thought perhaps it might be because I am using an rc, so I tried in StarOffice8 and a standard 2.2.0 version w/same results. So then I tried inserting via Insert|Movie and Sound - comes back as "The format of the selected file is not supported". Odd, since WAVE Audio clearly shows up as a valid selection option under the Insert Movie and Sound File type dropdown. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
