No problem, Joyce. Most prefer some trimming of replies, though I think the number of people using dial-up and paying per KB has diminished over the years. We used to get a lot of complaints when people would send back a three or four page discussion with just a +1 added. Just decide how much will keep the context clear. I didn't think you need a user name/password just to read the forums, nor the mail archives. You do to post IIRC. Likewise it is only necessary to set up a login on openoffice.org if you want to report bugs or comment/vote on existing bugs.
