Firstly, I can't log on to the forums for help or support. Yes, I have registered, and it still wont let me on. Can't access the registration page to register from a different email. I am a grad student with deadlines. I need a better level of support than this, or I will have to pay Bill Gates and get MS Office.
Secondly, writer, no matter HOW many times I uninstall and re-install the programme will not let me save changes to Writer documents. This is a nightmare. Essentially I have to create a new file using the Save As..... tab under file because the "Save" functions (and CNTRL + and the save disc icon in the tool bar doesn't work). This is my problem, its a major one, and I have the first draft of a thesis on OOo due in a few weeks time. I have downloaded OOo on multiple computers and it does the same thing on all of them. I have one week to sort the problem or I have to buy MS Office re-type ALL of my research. Please, please please, help me fix this. I am absolutely desperate, and cant get any help whatsoever.
