Hopefully, it's appropriate to just send the full files. Doesn't look like it

mmh ... I never had seen such an alien-like window before ...
but a similar problem was posted at 2007-09-22
['Oo 2.3 install problem - OK ?????'] ...
... I'm not sure - but as far as I remember, it should be the time & place
for the appearance of the First Start Wizard ...
... so please open Setup.xcu with a text editor
[Path in WinXP ->]
<...\Application_Data\OpenOffice.org2\user\registry\data\org\openoffice\Setup.xcu>
Look at the following entries and values ->
<node oor:name="Office">
<prop oor:name="ooSetupInstCompleted" oor:type="xs:boolean">
<value>true</value>
</prop>
<prop oor:name="LicenseAcceptDate" oor:type="xs:string">
<value>2007-07-17T11:38:50</value>
</prop>
<prop oor:name="FirstStartWizardCompleted" oor:type="xs:boolean">
<value>true</value>
</prop>
Do the same for Common.xcu (t's just at the beginning)
<...\OpenOffice.org2\user\registry\data\org\openoffice\Office\Common.xcu>
</prop>
</node>
<node oor:name="Misc">
<prop oor:name="FirstRun" oor:type="xs:boolean">
<value>false</value>
</prop>
Please post the results to this thread
[ it would be better to subscribe the list ->
http://www.openoffice.org/mail_list.html ]
... and then perhaps some more ideas ...
Manfred
