Pravin,

It was I who was complaining, not Henri.

In /usr/share/fonts I have a folder named OpenType in which I have
installed 225 OpenType fonts, mostly purchased from Adobe. These fonts
are all available in all applications on my Ubuntu Feisty amd64
computer except OpenOffice and Abiword. For example, I can use them in
Kword, Scribus, the Gimp, but not Writer, Draw or Impress. It is
interesting that Abiword also does not enable OpenType fonts. The
problem is not Linux, it is OOo and Abiword. I rarely use Abiword, but
I use OOo heavily.

It has been discussed often that OOo does not use OpenType fonts on
Linux. I was merely inquiring if the new 2.3 version has finally
remedied this.
