For information; I've just created a file with OOo V2.3 Writer, inserted an
image, saved the file as .doc in MS Office 2000 format and then re-opened it in
Word 2000. The image is present at the correct size, in the correct location AND
it is re-sizeable. I did have to choose View Print Layout to see the image, as
would be expected.
We need more effort to discover the precise parameters that cause your problem:
would you be willing to make your failing file(s) available for analysis?
