You don't need to *buy* this. It's free at www.openoffice.org

You can download it and use it on as many computers as you like for any
purpose you like - personal, education, business, whatever. You can give it
to friends, relatives, colleagues etc. etc. It really is free. So is the
support, via this  mail list. Questions are answered by volunteers from all
around the world who use OpenOffice. Oh, and *no* popup adverts or spyware
or ...

The problem you explained, though, is very probably solved by the link I
gave you originally.
