Serge, when you do a reinstall your previous OOo profile will remain. Can you please rename the OOo user profile directory (in Windows I think it is: C:\Documents and Settings\[USERS]\Application Data\OpenOffice.org2\user) and then restart OOo? Now test again. Note: that will cause OOo to rebuild a new user profile & settings. Afterwards, if you wish, you can put the old user directory back. If that fixed it, then it is something in your old user profile that was causing the problem.
