[users] MS Publisher files

I am the webmaster for a client who has recently changed to using only MS 
Publisher because that makes it easier for her to put out their newsletter. I 
"publish" their newsletter on the website.
Is there any way to open MS Publsher files using OpenOffice? or some utility?
Now I have to re-enter all the text files myself.
Help please.
