On Mac you may prefer to work with NeoOffice (www.neooffice.org) which
runs natively in the Aqua environment. And keep checking back on the
OpenOffice.org site, too, since the OOo Mac Porting developers are
making great progress towards an Aqua version as well. (There is an
early release version available now, in fact, which I've been using
without too much trouble.)
