Hello Brian, I think it is a bug. If the tool was called "paragraph format paintbrush" I would agree with you and the problem really is that OO.o, unlike MSO implements also the character styles. The reason why I think it is a bug is because if I apply the format paintbrush to only a section of the paragraph, my expectation as a user is that only the text selected is affected by the change, not the whole paragraph. This is why I think that filing an issue was the correct thing to do. Cheers, Michele
