I am unsure about the licensing restrictions regarding Microsoft's Arial
Narrow font, but if you own a copy of Windows you could copy the ttf
fonts from your Windows system into your fonts directory & use them.
Before doing so I'd recommend you read up on the MS font licenses:

http://www.microsoft.com/typography/fonts/font.aspx?FID=8&FNAME=Arial

However, if you are going to buy a font to replace Arial Narrow you
might as well buy a proper Helvetica instead:

Publishers will thank you :-)

You can instead find font types that are close and substitue those for
Arial Narrow (Tools|Options|Fonts|Apply replacement table). Some links
that you might find helpful:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unicode_typefaces
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_typefaces#Unicode_fonts
https://www.redhat.com/promo/fonts/
[these are Ascender fonts - the same folks that sell Arial Narrow - try
Liberation Mono]

There are enough free/opensource fonts out there that will probably fit
the bill, so I'd recommend you explore those & avoid using any font
illegally. Or, buy the font that you need from a reputable foundry.
