Large corporations with myriad contracts won't be asking about software licensing in the OpenOffice users mailing list. You are posting replies to mom-and-pop corner stores here, not the Walmart IT department. Accordingly, the simplest answer is the best answer. "OpenOffice is Free Software. Use it as you please." It's short, compete and absolutely correct in the context where this is being dealt with. No need to tell folks to spend megabucks (or even a single buck) on legal advice to tell them that. > I remember back when I was at IBM when Linux was still fairly new. That's IBM. I would be very surprised if any of the folks running businesses and asking questions on this mailing list actually had any sort of IT contracts other than what came with their computer when they bought it at Staples. Maintenance contracts and professional IT-related services of that nature are not even on the radar of the average small business. -- MELVILLE THEATRE ~ Melville Sask ~ http://www.melvilletheatre.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
