Would please everybody stop to haggle about this issue that has been on

Again, it's not our concern. If you go into Staples to buy some
software package, will you be told to consult your lawyer before
installing? Not likely, because they assume the purchaser is able to
make their own decisions about what to install. OpenOffice is no
different. It is simply a product that's available to install on
someone's computer. We cannot police the world and quite frankly,
your warnings are beginning to sound like Microsoft FUD, claiming
that if you run Linux or OpenOffice, you may be violating their IP.
It helps if you don't treat people like idiots, who can't think for
themselves. And that is how you're coming across.
